Since partnering with Paul Teitelman SEO Consulting, Toronto Audio Visual Rentals has increased its estimated organic traffic by 81% and its estimated organic traffic value by 91% over two and a half years, with its LED wall, event lighting and LED screen rental pages now ranking #1 and #2 in Toronto.
Toronto Audio Visual Rentals is a full-service AV equipment rental, staging and consulting company serving the Greater Toronto Area. They supply projectors and screens, sound systems, LED walls and video walls, TVs and displays, laptops, staging, lighting, podiums, drapes and presentation equipment for conferences, corporate events, trade shows, galas, product launches and press conferences, with onsite technicians, simultaneous interpretation and live streaming when an event needs it.
Having served more than 1,000 companies, including the Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Tire, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, the University of Toronto and the Toronto District School Board, the company had the reputation. The opportunity was to match that reputation with visibility for the specific equipment searches event planners make when they are ready to book.
“We’ve been working with Paul and his team for the past couple of years and have been very happy with the results. We’ve seen significant growth in our organic visibility and improved rankings across several important AV rental searches in Toronto. Paul has been knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with, and his team has become a valuable part of our overall SEO strategy.”

Toronto Audio Visual Rentals
Over two and a half years, Paul Teitelman SEO Consulting helped Toronto Audio Visual Rentals expand its organic search visibility with a strategy built on steady link building to raise the site’s authority, supported by early technical fixes, keyword-led metadata updates and blog content that connects the equipment pages to the events planners are searching for.
Toronto Audio Visual Rentals is one of the GTA’s established audio-visual staging companies, positioning itself as “a full service AV equipment rental, staging and AV Rentals consulting organization”. Beyond equipment, the team handles event organization support, custom solutions, onsite technicians, and webcasting and streaming for hybrid and remote audiences.
From an SEO perspective the business has a wide footprint: every equipment category (projectors, LED walls, TVs, speakers, lighting, staging, laptops, podiums) is its own search, and each is searched both generically (“led wall rental”) and locally (“event lighting rental toronto”).
When Toronto Audio Visual Rentals began working with Paul Teitelman SEO Consulting in March 2024, the website had an estimated monthly organic traffic level of 424 and an estimated organic traffic value of $51,697 (Ahrefs, Canada).
The site already ranked #1 to #3 for its brand and for the broad “av rentals toronto” and “audio visual rental” terms. The gap was in the equipment-specific searches where event planners have already decided what they need:
Key challenges included:
The engagement began with a technical review of the site, with fixes applied so that the equipment pages could be crawled and understood properly. Keyword research across the equipment categories then guided an update of the title tags and meta descriptions on the priority pages, so that each one matched the way event planners actually search rather than internal product names.
The same keyword research shaped a run of supporting blog content covering the topics planners research before they book, from choosing AV equipment for an event to stage and lighting design ideas, with links back to the relevant rental pages. Two of those posts still rank in the top 5 for their target searches.
The core of the strategy was authority. Toronto Audio Visual Rentals was competing against national rental chains and event production companies for equipment-specific searches, and the site as a whole needed stronger backing before its equipment pages could move from the bottom of page 1 to the top.
Over the engagement, the site earned links from more than 200 real websites, including event-industry and business publications. The links were built steadily rather than in bursts and pointed at the homepage, raising the authority of the whole domain rather than any single page. As that authority grew, the equipment pages that already had the right targeting were the ones that moved: event lighting rental from page 4 to #2, LED wall rental from #5 to #1, and TV rentals into the top 3 from nowhere.
No separate local campaign was needed. The equipment pages already carried Toronto intent, so as the domain’s authority grew they rose for the local variants alongside the generic terms. The site now ranks first or second for “event lighting rental toronto”, “av rentals toronto”, “audio visual toronto” and “toronto av”.
Data in this section: Ahrefs Brand Radar, AI answers citing torontoaudiovisualrentals.ca, September 2025 to September 2026 (chart shows August 2024 to September 2026).
Google now answers many event-planning questions directly, in AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Toronto Audio Visual Rentals is increasingly the source it cites. A year ago, Ahrefs Brand Radar tracked only a handful of AI answers a day citing torontoaudiovisualrentals.ca. By September 2026 that had grown to more than 80, with Google citing the site’s guides when people ask how to decorate a stage for an event, how to choose the right projector, what AV equipment an event needs, and what a podium is used for, alongside Toronto-specific questions such as projector rental, LED screen rental and trade show displays. The supporting content written during the engagement is what earns those citations, and the authority built through link building is what makes Google trust it.
According to Ahrefs, Toronto Audio Visual Rentals’ estimated organic traffic grew from 424 in March 2024 to 768 in September 2026.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Starting estimated organic traffic (March 2024) | 424 |
| Estimated organic traffic now (September 2026) | 768 |
| Increase in estimated organic traffic | +344 |
| Percentage increase | +81% |
| Starting estimated organic traffic value | $51,697 |
| Estimated organic traffic value now | $98,598 |
| Percentage increase in value | +91% |
The biggest gains came on the equipment-specific searches the site was already targeting (Ahrefs, Canada, March 2024 vs September 2026):
| Keyword | Volume | Was | Now |
|---|---|---|---|
| led wall rental | 200 | 5 | 1 |
| led video wall rental | 100 | 4 | 1 |
| event lighting rental | 100 | 33 | 2 |
| event lighting rental toronto | 60 | 5 | 1 |
| lighting rentals | 30 | 57 | 1 |
| lighting rental | 90 | 61 | 5 |
| event lighting toronto | 70 | 7 | 2 |
| rental led display | 40 | 5 | 1 |
| screen rental | 40 | 18 | 3 |
| tv rentals toronto | 30 | not ranking | 2 |
| stage lighting rental | 100 | 17 | 8 |
At page level, the LED wall packages page went from 10 to 92 estimated monthly visits, the event lighting page from 3 to 92, the LED screen page from 14 to 65, the TV rental page from 22 to 38, and the homepage from 187 to 358.
For Toronto Audio Visual Rentals, stronger organic visibility means being found at the moment an event planner knows what they need. Someone searching “led wall rental” or “event lighting rental toronto” is usually days or weeks from an event and comparing suppliers, and those are now searches where the company appears first or second.
The campaign helped Toronto Audio Visual Rentals increase visibility for searches related to:
With the LED wall, lighting and screen pages established at the top of the results, the next phase is recovering ground on stage rental and laptop rental searches, building out package and event-type content around the spring and fall conference seasons, and continuing to grow the company’s visibility in AI search results, where planners increasingly ask for supplier recommendations directly.
