Implementing a Cost-Effective SEO Strategy for your Business
In general, a full SEO campaign includes the following 4 step process.
Over the years I’ve implemented cost effective SEO services successfully for hundreds of websites ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small local business owners and professionals. In my opinion they all follow the same 4-step process outlined below. Always keep in mind – the whole point of any SEO strategy is to drive the highest levels of unbranded organic traffic by achieving top rankings for your list of keywords relevant to your business. This process withstands the test of time and each sequential step is crucial to the overall success of any SEO campaign.
The average client (business owner, marketing manager) signs up for my monthly SEO services – which focus on primarily on link building and on page optimization. When signing up for monthly services, an initial keyword research strategy will be provided as well, so we make sure we are targeting the appropriate keywords in the campaign. These keywords can obviously be amended over time, but the keyword research process helps determine the starting point for the targeted keywords. Once the keyword strategy has been prioritized by top terms, on page optimization reports are included to ensure that the site is fully optimized from an on-page perspective. Then month-by-month, the link building strategies are executed in order to improve the organic keyword rankings. Monthly reporting includes fully detailed keyword ranking reports tracked weekly, as well as fully transparent link building services showing every link built along with anchor text, Page Authority, Domain Authority and Trust Flow.
For larger enterprise and agency clients, they often require a more in-depth keyword research and on-page optimization strategy, especially when diving into SEO initially or migrating over to a new site. For these projects, the four step process may be divided into an initial engagement for steps #1-#3 and then a link building component in the future.
