Before the engagement, CMMXYZ had an established reputation in coordinate metrology, but its organic presence did not fully reflect the breadth of its offerings across equipment, services, software, training, and support.

At the time, the website was dated, not fully responsive, and built on a legacy CMS that made it difficult to edit content, manage products efficiently, or expand the site in a way that matched the company’s reach across North America. Strategy: How We Turned Things Around

One of the most important early steps in the engagement was helping CMMXYZ launch a new website shortly after we started working together. That rebuild created a more flexible, search-friendly foundation for ongoing technical SEO improvements, content expansion, UX enhancements, and long-term organic growth.

Strengthening the Technical & Structural Foundation

With the new site in place, we focused on strengthening the technical foundation so search engines could more effectively crawl, understand, and prioritize CMMXYZ’s most important pages. This included improving site structure, supporting cleaner internal linking, and building a more scalable foundation for long-term SEO growth.

Content & Solution Pages Aligned with Real Search Demand

Next, we expanded and refined CMMXYZ’s product, service, software, and training pages around real search demand. We focused on aligning core pages with how engineers, quality teams, and manufacturing buyers actually search for metrology solutions, whether they were evaluating new equipment, sourcing used CMMs, looking for calibration and repair support, or exploring training and software options. CMMXYZ’s public site now clearly reflects these solution areas across equipment, measurement services, calibration, software, and training.

We also created and optimized supporting content to capture both branded and non-branded search demand and to better connect top-of-funnel research with bottom-of-funnel inquiry intent.

User Experience & Inquiry Path Improvements

We improved the on-site experience so visitors could more easily understand CMMXYZ’s capabilities and find the right next step. This included making it easier to navigate between product categories, service offerings, software support, and training resources, while creating clearer paths from research to contact or quote request.

Organic Visibility Expansion Across Products, Services, and Support

To build broader non-branded visibility, we expanded CMMXYZ’s search footprint across its full solution set. That included optimizing and supporting pages tied to new and used CMMs, measurement services, repair and calibration, software, and training, while strengthening internal relationships between these content areas so Google could better understand topical relevance across the site.

Organic Traffic & Engagement 

Over a recent multi-year period, CMMXYZ saw substantial organic growth across both traffic and engagement. Organic sessions more than doubled, engaged organic visits increased significantly, and tracked organic key events grew by more than 5x. This reflected not only stronger search visibility, but also improved quality of traffic and clearer paths from organic visits to meaningful inquiry actions.
